Keystone isn’t just one of the best Colorado ski resorts, it’s actually one of the best ski resorts for families in North America. There are plenty of beginner runs, there is plenty to do there besides simply ski or snowboard, and there are lots of hotel and lodge options that allow families the space to spread out. And many even have full kitchens! If you’re searching for hotels near Keystone Resort, you’ll find many options that give families great access to the slopes.

When we recently visited Keystone, we chose to stay in one of the Keystone condos right in the heart of River Run Village so we could take full advantage of the Kids Ski Free program (a major perk when ski trips can get pricey!). When you book lodging directly through Keystone for two or more nights, kids 12 and under ski free with no blackout dates—a huge bonus for families with young skiers.

Not only that, but staying on or near the mountain means you can roll out your door and be on the slopes in minutes—no parking lot shuffle, no long walks in ski boots, just more time enjoying the powder.

That said, not every trip looks the same. Maybe you don’t have kids under 12. Maybe your crew is all adults who want easy access to nightlife or spa time. Or maybe you’re traveling with a larger group and want more space or a quieter vibe. No matter your travel style, here are some excellent hotels near Keystone Resort that’ll keep you close to the action.

Thanks for reading my post. My name is Jaime and I am a mom to three busy children. When we're not at the soccer and football fields, we try to get away as often as possible. I'm a teacher and my husband is a firefighter, so we mostly get away for long weekends or over the school breaks. I hope to inspire busy families to take time to recoup and relax while making memories on camping trips or cruise ships, or at the fancy resort pool--we love it all!
