Top Family-Friendly Airbnbs in Big Bear

For the past 10 years, we have rented a house in Big Bear at least once every winter and often in the summer as well. Staying in a large cabin with our family and friends is one of our favorite things to do. And I love looking through all the VRBOs and Airbnbs in Big Bear, choosing one that I know everyone will have fun at no matter what the weather is like.
VRBOs and Airbnbs in Big Bear can get pretty pricey. They also can book up well in advance, especially over holiday weekends and school breaks. Many of the houses on this list are big enough to share with multiple families, so that can help with the cost. Plus, my kids love having extra friends in the house.
There are some Airbnbs that I dream of staying in–complete with movie theater rooms, full game rooms, a spa and sauna. I’ve included links to those as well because they are amazing, and if you can afford it, why not?

But most of the Airbnbs in Big Bear that appear on this list will be more in the mid-range budget and will be suitable for multiple families to share. If you are traveling with just your family, I have some smaller homes on this list, but you can also check out this list of my favorite Big Bear hotels. Sometimes it works out to be quite a bit cheaper to stay in a hotel, especially if you’re only staying for a night or two.
Where to Stay in Big Bear

Depending on the time of year you go will likely determine where exactly you want to stay in Big Bear. When we go in the winter we usually choose an Airbnb in Big Bear that’s closer to the slopes. But in the summer, there are amazing Airbnbs in Big Bear that provide easy lake access.
No matter what time of year you go to Big Bear, there is a lot you can do there that will entertain the whole crew. Camping in Big Bear is super popular too, and there are many excellent campgrounds in Big Bear as well.
