Our Hunt for the Best Family Resort in Punta Cana: Where the Fun Never Stops!

A few years ago, our close friends went to the Nickelodeon Resort in Punta Cana and had the best time. They couldn’t wait to plan a return trip with a group of families, including mine. The Dominican Republic had been on my radar for a long time, so I was excited to finally pull the trigger and plan a trip. And, not surprisingly, we had a blast!

Fast forward to present time, and I’m interested in planning a return trip. But now the question is, do I return to the Nickelodeon Resort or try one of the other amazing family resorts in Punta Cana? If you haven’t been, you’ll find that Punta Cana is packed with sun-soaked fun, and it’s home to some of the best family resorts in the Caribbean. There are so many great options!

After extensive research, where I’ve read thousands of reviews and consulted with friends who have visited these resorts, I’ve rounded up a list of the top family-friendly resorts in Punta Cana — each packed with activities, pools, and perks for kids and grown-ups. The waterpark is a highlight — with slides, a lazy river, and splash pads. There’s also a kids’ club and a teen zone, along with a game room and bowling. Plus, a sports bar for adults. There’s truly a space for everyone to unwind (and parents can sneak in a spa day!).

Spacious family suites mean you don’t have to cram everyone into one room, and the beach here is less crowded than at some larger resorts.

Now the only hard part? Picking your favorite. As for me, I think I will try an option other than the Nickelodeon Resort for our next trip… especially since the kids are getting older. But which one will I choose?!
