Top 10 Family-Friendly Resorts in Austin

Austin, Texas, is a great place for a family vacation. We went a couple of years ago over spring break, and we have been talking about it ever since. I’m tempted to plan the same Austin itinerary as last time since it was so good. But with so many great Austin family resorts, I think I need to try another one (or two) so I can really compare experiences.
Whether you’re looking for some amazing outdoor adventures, a luxurious getaway, or a mix of both, there are several Austin family resorts that will provide exactly what you’re looking for. In the past, I’ve listed the Austin resorts with the best pools. But in this post, I really focus on the entire experience. Most of these family resorts in Austin have plenty to do to keep everyone entertained. And they’re near some of our favorite family outings in Austin.
This post just focuses on the amazing resorts in Austin, however, there are also some great Airbnbs in Austin as well, if that is more your thing.
These are the top 10 Austin family resorts I have come up with. Some resorts are in San Antonio, which is a short drive from Austin. But once you see the resorts there, you won’t bat an eye at making the short commute. We did the first half our trip in Austin and the second half in San Antonio when we went, and it was perfect!
