The first time we visited Spokane, we started in Seattle and then made the drive to visit family in Spokane. We quickly fell in love with this charming city, and we found so many fun things to do there. From outdoor adventures to interactive museums, Spokane has something for everyone.

1. Riverfront Park – One of our favorite family things to do in Spokane


No trip to Spokane is complete without a visit to Riverfront Park. This 100-acre urban park is the heart of downtown and offers plenty of family fun. In fact, we spent multiple days there.
Take a ride on the Numerica SkyRide, an enclosed gondola that gives you breathtaking views of Spokane Falls. Let the kids burn off energy at the Ice Age Floods Playground, or take a leisurely ride on the historic Looff Carrousel. In the summer, cool off at the interactive Rotary Fountain. And there’s a fun rollerskating ribbon that doubles as an ice-skating ribbon in the winter months.
2. Mobius Discovery Center
If you have curious little ones, the Mobius Discovery Center is a must-visit. This hands-on science and art museum encourages kids to explore, create, and learn through interactive exhibits.
