We chose to stay at this resort knowing that it was recommended as one of the top family resorts in Palm Desert. My sister and her family went with us and the cousins had the best time exploring the resort together.

The Marriott Shadow Ridge Villas come with multiple bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and living areas that give everyone room to spread out. Note: There are studio rooms available that are much smaller than the villas. So if you choose to stay in one of these, I definitely recommend staying in the Shadow Ridge II portion of the resort, rather than the Enclaves. The studio rooms in the Enclaves felt very small–much smaller than even a traditional hotel room.

Let’s face it, the pool is often the highlight of a family vacation, and this resort doesn’t disappoint. The Shadow Ridge offers multiple pools, including family-friendly options with water slides and splash areas that will keep the kids entertained for hours.
