Tulum has become one of the most popular travel destinations in Mexico. While it serves as a great place for yoga retreats and honeymooners, it’s also a place that families can enjoy as well. Especially when you stay at one of these amazing Tulum family resorts.

Never heard of Tulum? Tulum is a little beach city just south of Cancun, Mexico. It’s best known for its ancient Mayan ruins and beautiful beaches. There are also some amazing cenotes surrounding Tulum. Popular spots include Gran Cenote, Dos Ojos, and Cenote Calavera.

While many Tulum resorts are catered towards couples and wellness-focused getaways, there are a handful that are perfect for families. The family-friendly resorts in Tulum combine luxury with activities suitable for all ages. Here are some of my favorite Tulum family resorts.

  • Amenities: Multiple pools, along with a kids water play area, family suites, private beach access, and eco-friendly programs.

2. Bahia Principe Grand Tulum One of the All-Inclusive Tulum Family Resorts

  • Why it’s great: Recently renovated with a kids’ water park and a family-oriented entertainment program. Beautiful beach-front location.
  • Amenities: Spacious suites, a range of restaurants, kids club complete with arcade games and fuseball, and activities like snorkeling and kayaking.
