Going to Disneyland is going to be expensive no matter what, but there are certainly ways to help cut down some costs. One is to eat breakfast before you enter the park (plus that’ll give you more time for the rides). There are plenty of food places around the park, but you can save more money by staying on one of the free breakfast hotels near Disneyland.
These Disneyland-area hotels not only provide convenient access to the Disneyland parks, but they also provide a complimentary breakfast for you when you stay overnight. Most of these hotels are located on Harbor Dr., just across from the Disneyland main entrance or adjacent to Disneyland. Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini Suites – This free breakfast Disneyland hotel is right across the street!
Distance: 3-min. walk
The Best Western Plus Park Place Inn is one of the top hotels near Disneyland with free breakfast for a couple of reasons. One is that it is directly across the street from the crosswalk on Harbor Dr., making it one of the closest hotels to the Disneyland entrance. They serve a full complimentary breakfast daily, and there’s a complimentary latte/cappuccino/hot chocolate machine in the lobby. They also have spacious rooms that sleep up to six people.
When booking, make sure you choose the correct Best Western, as there are a handful of others in the area.
Element Anaheim Resort – One of the yummiest free breakfast hotels near Disneyland
Distance: 15-min. walk; 5-min. drive
The Element Anaheim Resort has probably the best breakfast buffet out of every hotel on this list. You’ll find specialty items such as waffles, crepes, breakfast burritos as well as eggs, egg whites, spinach frittata, a make-your-own yogurt parfait station, fruit, veggies and a toast station. Another perk is that the breakfast buffet opens at 6:30am, giving you an earlier start to your day before hitting the parks.
Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites – Another one of the hotels near Disneyland with free breakfast and convenient location
Distance: 5-min. walk
The Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites is another one of the closest hotels to the Disneyland park entrance, located just across the street from the entrance. From 7am to 9:30am daily, you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast that consists of fruit, pastries, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal, apple juice, orange juice, milk, and coffee.
More reasons to love this hotel is that it has an indoor pool, a view of the Disneyland fireworks and some of their suites are large enough to accommodate 10 people.
Cambria Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort Area
Distance: 1 mile; 23-min. walk or 6-min. drive
While this hotel is a bit further than some of the other hotels on this list, the Cambria Hotel Anaheim Resort Area has a ton going for it. The complimentary hot breakfast buffets consists of egg and breakfast meat stations, waffles, pancakes, fresh juices, hot coffee, and seasonal specials.
Plus the kids absolutely love the 30,000 sq. ft. waterpark, which features two waterslides and a splash pad in addition to a large pool and a kids pool. You can also enjoy the jacuzzi, a movie wall, multiple fire pits and an outdoor bar when you stay here.
Candy Cane Inn – This free breakfast hotel near Disneyland also has a free shuttle!
Distance: 9-min. walk
The Candy Cane Inn features a complimentary continental breakfast buffet that includes hard-boiled eggs, cubed cheese, fresh whole fruit, a mix of assorted cold cereals, as well as granola, instant hot oatmeal, white and wheat breads, muffins, croissants, bagels, danishes, and doughnuts. Beverages include freshly brewed coffee, tea, hot cocoa, orange juice, and apple juice.

Hyatt House at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center – One of the hotels near Disneyland with free breakfast & that’s walkable
This hotel offers a buffet-style breakfast with made-to-order omelets. And it’s an easy 9-minute walk to Disneyland. You will have to pay for parking, however, but there are other perks like spacious rooms and an on-site market. I personally enjoy that there is a Starbucks just out front as well, for an easy coffee stop on our way out.
Desert Palms Hotel & Suites
Distance: 11-min. walk
At the Desert Palms Hotel and Suites, you’ll have access to a free hot breakfast that includes eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, toast, make-your-own waffles, yogurt, cereal, muffins or pastries, and fresh fruit. Plus coffee and fruit juices as well. You can enjoy breakfast in the breakfast room or on the scenic patio, which offers views of Disney’s California Adventure park.
Residence Inn by Marriott at Anaheim Resort Convention Center
Distance: 13-min. walk
There are a lot of perks when you choose to stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott at Anaheim Convention Center. Besides a short, flat walk to the park entrance, guests can enjoy spacious sleeping areas that are separate from the living spaces, a rooftop pool and splash area and a complimentary breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet has an incredible selection and is one of the best free breakfasts I’ve had.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Anaheim Resort Area
Distance: 9-min. walk
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Anaheim Resort Area is another great option to look at when seeking free breakfast hotels near Disneyland. It offers a really good hot breakfast buffet. You’ll find pancakes, cheese and veggie omelets, fresh fruit, yogurt, bacon and sausage. And when you’re done with breakfast, you’ll have an easy, less than half-mile walk to the Disneyland entrance.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott at Anaheim Resort Area/Convention Center
Distance: 0.7 mile; 14-min. walk
The SpringHill Suites Marriott Anaheim Resort/Convention Center is another great option for a hotel in walking distance that offers a fantastic free breakfast. The free hot breakfast buffet offers Mickey waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, breakfast bowls, toast, bagels, yogurts, coffee and more. Plus this hotel has spacious rooms with bunk beds, making it a great option for larger families.
